Adrian Cormican

Adrian’s entire career has centred around property development finance. Following university, he spent seven years with National Australia Bank Group and then joined the Dawney Day Group. It was here, in 2010, that Adrian decided to fulfil a lifetime’s ambition of starting his own business by forming Hallcroft Finance, a bespoke development finance brokerage. Although this was a particularly challenging time to start a debt funding business Adrian survived and thrived and the lessons learned during this period have made him stronger and wiser as a business leader. In addition, key relationships, with both clients and funders, were formed during these difficult times some of which remain as part of the wider Hallcroft Group stakeholder network.

Adrian owns and manages his own property investments and is keen to grow his portfolio through joint venture partnerships. He is also an active participant in the Hallcroft mezzanine business and is a member of the oversight board.

Outside Hallcroft, Adrian has a busy family life and spends a lot of his spare time, as a qualified football coach, supporting young children develop their life skills through football.

Martyn Pollock

Martyn graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2004 with an honour’s degree in law. During his professional career he specialised in private equity, mergers and acquisitions and Fund formation with UK Top 50 law firms McGrigors (now Pinsent Mason) and S J Berwin LLP. Martyn has always had entrepreneurial flair and he left the law profession to set up his own retail business which he subsequently expanded throughout London and into Manchester and Glasgow. With a love of property development, he directed his career into property development funding and, with his legal experience and the knowledge gained running his own business he set up a property fund for a boutique mid-market debt finance provider.

He joined Hallcroft in 2018 and co-founded the Hallcroft advisory business which he now runs as part of the wider Hallcroft Group. He has expert knowledge of the UK funding market which he uses to support, and give confidence to, clients in the delivery of their property projects. His legal and entrepreneurial expertise often means he can find workable solutions to the more complex property transactions. Martyn is a firm believer in getting things done!

Martyn is an active participant in the Hallcroft mezzanine business.
